ABOUT  

Studio Pirrie was started in 2021 by Melbourne/Naarm based designer and artist Tess Pirrie.

Tess pursued her artist journey at a young age. Her artistic approach is truly multidisciplinary, driven by a deep connection to process and narrative. Tess endeavors to infuse each piece of her work with story. Her creative exploration involves thorough research spanning history, materials, practices, and diverse sources of inspiration.

Tess successfully earned her Associate Degree in Furniture Design from RMIT in 2021, following her earlier accomplishment of a Bachelor's Degree in Textile Merchandising in 2018.

Tess is also one of the Co-founders of Misc Objet
Misc Objet is a Naarm/Melbourne-based organisation, which aim to provide safe spaces and equal opportunities for emerging creatives. They help promote inclusivity and diversity of the Australian contemporary art, craft, and design community.
